The Mission Continues

The Mission Continues was founded in 2007 after Eric returned from Iraq and visited with wounded Marines at Bethesda Naval Hospital. The Marines he met expressed an unwavering desire to continue serving their country, even if they could not do so in the military. One young Marine said this: "I lost my legs – that is all. I did not lose my desire to serve, or my pride in being an American." Inspired, Eric used his own combat pay to found the Mission Continues which empowers wounded and disabled veterans to continue their service to their country and communities as citizen leaders here at home.

To unite veterans and their fellow citizens in shared service to the nation.
